DAY 2
Day 2: From Arusha to Lake Manyara to Mto wa Mbu
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha in the morning and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara, resting in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants, but is also home to a few hundred other bird species — a paradise for ornithologists. Baboons and vervet monkeys are found in the forested areas, while giraffes nibble fresh leaves and various antelope browse the more open spaces.

DAY 3
Day 3: From Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti
Start your day leaving for Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti) via the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands. One of the seven natural wonders of Africa, Serengeti National Park is known for its stunning wildebeest migration, is home to all the big predators, and has a fabulous landscape. We return to our accommodation in the late hours for an overnight in central Serengeti.

DAY 4
Day 4: To Western Serengeti
We leave early for the Western Corridor on the Grumeti River, the best place to see the wildebeest migration. You will learn all about the oldest ecosystem on earth and get a chance to enjoy the great show of the wildebeest migration while crossing the Grumeti River.

DAY 5
Day 5: Western Serengeti Game Drives
This morning we take advantage of the opportunity for another safari drive in this fantastic setting before departing the Western Serengeti — time to observe the migratory herds and the dangers and difficult circumstances they encounter every year in their struggle for life.

DAY 6
Day 6: Return to Central Serengeti National Park
We quickly return to the central area of the Serengeti in the afternoon, and are then driven to our chosen lodging for the evening's dinner and rest.

DAY 7
Day 7: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Soon after breakfast, you'll experience another game drive in this brilliant location — additional time to marvel at the migratory herds and the risks and demanding situations they face every year in their struggle for survival. After a quick afternoon game drive, you'll make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8
Day 8: Full Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Back to Arusha
After breakfast, you'll drive down to Ngorongoro Crater. Lions, leopards, buffalo, hyenas, waterbucks, hippos, baboons, black rhinos, jackals, warthogs, gazelles and an abundance of other flora and fauna call this place home. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch, followed by a late-afternoon ascent from the crater back to your hotel in Arusha.
